Notes: *It is known that George and Hermine had six children (from her answer on the 1900 and 1910 censuses), and that two died young, at least by 1900 (and maybe before 1870 since they do not show up on the 1870 census data); it is uncertain who these two were. The most likely place for them in the birth order is the 7-year gap (1861-1867) between Alfred and Lucia. Burial records at NY Bay Cemetery (in NJ) do not specify the names of the parents (and not even the given names of the deceased); NY birth and death records are not available for the 1860s. Genealogists have disagreed over who they think these two children are:
I think it is likely the two Stiebelings buried in the 1860s in NY Bay cemetery are two Stiebeling-Kreymeyer children. The cemetery record indicates one 4/26/1866-4/29/1866, and one buried 6/3/1867 (could be any age -- I am guessing age 4/5 years -- George and Hermine had children approximately 30 months apart, and these two would match this timing; however, it should be noted that it is uncertain that this was even a child -- it could be some adult Stiebeling we do not know about, although the adults usually did have names recorded). George and Hermine are the only Stiebelings in NY at this time having children, and they are the only Stiebelings using this cemetery at this time (although Stiebeling-Henning also use it in the 1870s; but they are only known to have lived in Baltimore, MD in the 1860s). Furthermore, the child who died in 4/1866 is known to be a child of George and Hermine, based on the FHC Film#1324509; so it is only the Stiebeling buried in 1867 that is in question.
However, there was an Emma Stiebeling, listed as a 16-year-old daughter on George Stiebeling's 1880 census, and some genealogists have reasonably assumed that she is one of the two unknown children, born ~1864, who died young, before 1900. No birth, marriage, or death record was found for her, she was not included in the family on the 1870 census, and she is not buried at NY Bay cemetery; therefore, I think the 1880 census is in error -- both the "daughter" designation as well as the surname Stiebeling -- and that Emma was a nanny instead (perhaps even Emma/Eva Kohl, George's third wife). Reference the New York Directory for more discussion on this issue. (Note, the Emma Stiebeling who is listed in the home in the special 1890 police census is George's wife Eva Kohl Stiebeling.)
The Edward George Stiebeling born and died in 1872 is definitely the child of Stiebeling-Henning. Although George and Hermine were still together in 1872, and Hermine would be 38, the death certificate for this child lists the home address as 135 Cunnm St, NYC, which was not an address for George and Hermine. With the known birthdate of Elizabeth on 11/20/1869 and the known birthdate of this Edward on 1/31/1872, the birthdate for Emma would have to fall between August 1870 and April 1871.
In any case, probably none of these children lived to adulthood to be married, so their placement in the genealogical tree affects just their own single entry.

** There is no marriage record for Georg Stiebeling with either his "second wife" niece Fredericke Stiebeling or his "third wife" Eva Emma Kohl. Additionally, on his Civil War pension application (p.1-100, p.101-103) -- both his application for a pension and first wife's Hermine application for the pension after his death -- Hermine specifically states that there was no divorce. Of course, she also states in the application that they lived together until the time of his death. And, in the New York directories she lists herself as a widow when he left her for Friedericke too. Since it is illegal today, and thought to be illegal then too, for a man to marry his niece, it is assumed that Georg never did formally divorce Hermine. Fredericke's sister Maria had been a nanny for Georg and Hermine (on the 1870 census), probably until her marriage on 11/7/1871. It is surmised, but pure conjecture, that maybe Fredericke then lived with George and Hermine. From the NY directories, it appears that George moved out ~1876, and Fredericke is listed as selling fancy goods, and living with her father in 1874-1876. Clearly, Fredericke and Georg had ample opportunity for many meetings at family affairs, even if Fredericke never worked at Georg's home. Likewise, there is an Emma who lived with Georg and Fredericke in 1880; although she is listed as a daughter, I am guessing she is really Emma Kohl, working as a nanny; Emma will become Georg's third "wife" after Fredericke's death in 1886 -- as mentioned above. In any case, it should be noted that son Evon was born 1/26/1888, just 20 months after Fredericke's death on 5/31/1886, so it appears likely that they may have known each other prior to Fredericke's death, and Georg would have been anxious to remarry as his two sons by Fredericke were only 1 and 8.

There was a William Deckenback born circa 1828 who shows up in NY as a witness to the Kreymeyer-Stiebeling marriage on 5/3/1857 in Jersey City, NJ. Note that Ferdinand Stiebeling (1854 passenger list) and William Deckenbach first live in NY after emigration, according to census data and NY directories:
