Donna,
We haven't as yet transcribed the Monumental Inscriptions for Jedburgh. I do however have transcription of some of the stones at Jedburgh Abbey not done by ourselves which I am attaching and which I hope might be of interest,

Dear Donna
Glad that I might have been able to help somebody. I have just been working on Crailing and Nisbet, the neighbouring Parish to Ancrum and at the risk of doing ourselves out of a sale I am attaching the draft transcript. I was aware of some quite old Cranston/Cranstoun graves. Re Jedburgh as I said we have not ourselves got round to transcribing this and I am not at all clear who actually compiled the list I sent and when though I get the impression it was done some years ago. Probably though no great harm in letting it be known to serious researchers that it is available. Thanks very much for brining my attention to the Statistical Abstracts which I was not aware of. I am however having some difficulty bringing them up and I should appreciate if you could perhaps confirm the exact link
Best wishes
Ronald

Note: While this might be all the tombstone inscriptions in Crailing/Nesbit, this is only a partial listing of those in Jedburgh. The Borders Family History Society has not yet undertaken the inscription of stones from Jedburgh, so it is possible that the Taylors (and other Cranstons) will be found in another cemetery.
